Cinema Delicatessen is a distributor of documentaries for the Dutch cinema market. Films that are chosen for distribution represent the best in the market and our focus on high artistic value and quality production means the films we distribute are always met with both audience and critical acclaim.

Films include I Am Not Your Negro, Academy Award winner CITIZENFOUR, Joshua Oppenheimers contemporary classics The Act of Killing and The Look of Silence, Sergei Loznitsa’s Maidan and THE EVENT, IDFA-winners The New Rijksmuseum, A Strange Love Affair with Ego and ‘Now something is slowly changing’, documentary blockbusters Kedi, Louis Theroux: My Scientology Movie and Sergio Herman, Fucking Perfect and Those Who Feel the Fire Burning, the highly acclaimed documentary by the talented young Dutch director Morgan Knibbe. Next to its regular theatrical releases each year Cinema Delicatessen distributes two ‘Best of IDFA’ programs that tour around the Netherlands: The Best of IDFA on tour and The Best of IDFA Junior. Cinema Delicatessen and IDFA also have a shared DVD label: IDFA’s Delicatessen. Other partnerships include a distribution cooperation with Mokum Filmdistribution (in the Netherlands) and Dalton Distribution (in Belgium).
